The Custodian

A space for quiet reflection and radical truth.

I am a spiritual director, a social worker, and a student and lover of the earth. Here we weave together the sacred, the systemic, and the natural world.

Spiritual Director portrait

Thirty years in the trenches of social work taught me that the soul cannot flourish in isolation.

My journey began in the complex systems of communal care. For three decades, I witnessed the profound resilience of the human spirit amidst systemic failure. I learned that spiritual health is inseparable from social justice.

To truly grow, we must first address what keeps us small: the internalized weights of white supremacy, misogyny, and the lingering ghosts of colonization.

Compost and Grow

In nature, nothing is wasted. The fallen leaf becomes the nutrient for the next spring's sprout. Our "failures," our traumas, and the systems we must unlearn are the compost of our transformation. I facilitate a process of looking at the dark earth of our lives not with shame, but with curiosity.

All are welcome.

"Spiritual direction is not about assimilation; it is about liberation. Your liberation and our collective liberation from all that drags us down is my desire and aspiration."
